När singer-songwriter Johanna Wedin-Duda och hennes syster Ulrika Wedin (Småland/Stockholm) framträder tillsammans går de under namnet The Hackers. De möts i det poetiska och delar den intensiva närvaron där dansen ackompanjerar sången och musiken. 

Our emotional cemetery, where we bury our feelings, is my favourite place to go with music. Making music feels like resurrecting dead bones, bodies and buried emotions.

When the singer-songwriter Johanna Wedin-Duda and her sister Ulrika Wedin from Sweden perform together they are The Hackers. In the landscape of poetry their different expressions meet in a compassionate awareness of sound, soul and visual energy. The dance accompanies the music and embodies the voice of what's not always so pleasant and pleasing.

Usually Johanna performs alone, but loves to bring her sister, drummer and other musicians together for special events whenever possible. Ulrika's work as a dancer and choreographer you'll find if you follow the link below.
